Cooking with me : Carne en Chile Mole
Carne en Chile Mole
I've been eating pretty boring foods lately in an attempt to lose weight but I'm getting bored SO it's time to change it up a bit.
NO MORE PLAIN CHICKEN AND FISH
Ingredients and steps:
Chile Mole
- Chile Mole:
- 4-10 Chile de Arbol (you can add more of these to make it more spicy or less, depends on your preference)
- 5 Chile Ancho
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 2 tsp Chicken Bouillon
- Add Chiles to your choice of Tupperwear, add hot water until it covers them and let sit for 20-30 minutes or while you cook your meat
- Add soaked chiles, half hot water from the container you soaked them in, garlic, and chicken bouillon
- Blend for a smooth paste and keep adding water if it's too thick
- Taste and add more salt or bouillon as needed
Meat:
- Pack of thin sliced beef round
- Add a tbsp of oil into a pan and wait for it to easily slide across the pan
- Add meat and cook on medium heat. I like to put a lid on top to keep the juices from evaporating
- Keep an eye on the meat and stir once it starts browning
Beans:
- Your preference, I used Pinto beans
****Cook on medium in a pot with water or use a slow cooker
If you're using your own pot make sure to keep an eye on it to keep adding water to make sure the beans stay covered
Rice:
Everyone makes rice different. There's a lot of different methods but this is what I prefer and it always turns out good.
Veggies:
- Kirkland Stir Fry Vegetable Blend
- Add into air fryer or your method of cooking and turn on the vegetables setting
- Keep an eye on it so they don't burn!
Okay when everything's all done, plate it on up and enjoy!
If you have other reccomendations on recipes, leave a comment. I'm always looking to try different meals.
